How do I make a donation by card?

You can make a donation on the platform using your card or digital wallet (such as PayPal or Airwallex). You can donate through:

• A donation giving activity or fundraiser, or
• A direct donation to a charity listed on the platform.

Option 1. Donate through a giving activity or fundraiser

1. From the left-hand navigation bar, select Search Giving Activities.
2. Browse or search for a donation activity or fundraiser that interests you.

3. Click the Donate button on the activity tile.
4. You will be taken to the giving activity page, where you can view:
   • Information about the charity or cause,
   • Total amount raised so far and progress toward the goal,
   • Whether the activity is being matched by your employer, and
   • How many supporters have contributed.

If the activity is a fundraiser

1. Scroll down to view participating teams or individuals.
2. Select the team or individual you wish to support.
3. Choose one of the suggested donation amounts or enter a custom amount.
4. Click Donate.

You will now be taken to the donation checkout page.

Option 2. Donate through a donation activity

For general donation activities (not fundraisers), follow similar steps:

1. On the Search Giving Activities page, locate the donation activity you wish to support.
2. Click the Donate button on the activity tile to open the Giving Activity page.
3. Review details about the charity, the campaign goal, and overall progress.
4. Select the amount you’d like to donate or enter a custom donation amount.
5. Click Donate to continue to the checkout page.

Option 3. Donate directly to a charity

You can also donate directly to a charity listed on the platform.

1. From the left-hand navigation bar, select Charities to open the Charities and Causes page.
2. Search or filter to find the charity you wish to support.

3. Click View to open the charity’s page.
4. If the charity accepts direct donations, you will see a Donate button.
5. Select Donate to open the donation widget, where you can:
   • Choose a suggested amount or enter a custom amount.
   • Click Donate to proceed to the checkout page.

Completing your donation (checkout page)

Once you reach the checkout page, follow these steps:

1. Add a message (optional):
   • You can include a short message with your donation.
   • This message will appear on the giving activity page for others to see (unless you choose to remain anonymous).
2. Choose anonymity (optional):
   • Select the Donate anonymously option if you prefer your name not to appear on the public activity feed.
   • Your company and Catalyser will still retain your donation details privately for reporting purposes.
3. Choose whether to share your information with the charity:
   • If you select Share my name and email with the charity, your contact details will be shared so the charity can send updates or future communications.
   • If you don’t select this option, the charity will not know your identity.
4. Select your payment method:
   • Choose Card as your payment method.
   • Enter your card details (credit or debit).
   • If available, you may also see the option to use a wallet payment (e.g., PayPal or Airwallex).
   • Complete your payment securely through the checkout form.
5. Click Donate to finalise your transaction.

After donating

• You’ll receive an email confirmation and tax receipt for your card donation.
• You can view your donation record by going to My Giving Summary → My Donations and selecting the Past tab.
