If you are registered as a team leader for a volunteering event, you can request to step down from this role in your personal summary.
1. Open the left-hand navigation bar and select Personal summary.
2. View your My volunteering table.
3. Locate the volunteering event where you are the team leader.
A text bubble will appear next to the event saying You’re the team leader in the team leader column.
If you are not the team leader, you will instead see the name of the person who is.
4. Select the X on the text bubble.
5. A confirmation modal will open. Select Yes to complete the request.
What happens after your cancel your role as team leader
You will remain registered for the event as a volunteer.
Your team leader responsibilities will be removed.
The volunteer coordinator will receive your request.
If needed, a new team leader will be assigned.
