If you can’t find a specific charity or organisation on the platform, there are a few possible reasons and next steps you can take.
1. Your company may have hidden the charity
Company admins can control which charities are visible to employees.
If a charity exists in the platform but has been hidden, you will not be able to search for or support it.
If you believe this may be the case, contact your company admin for clarification.
2. The organisation is not a formal charity
Not all organisations are formally registered as charities. These may categorised on Catalyser as Other organisations (also called beneficiaries).

Other organisations can include:
Smaller community organisations not yet registered as charities.
Direct support for individuals in need (e.g., helping an elderly neighbour).

Registered charities only: Payroll giving and verified donation disbursements are available only for charities in the verified database.
Other organisations or beneficiaries: Donations and volunteering for other organisations may be available if your admin enables them, but they cannot be supported through payroll giving.
