The volunteer registrations page lets you search and filter to quickly find the specific registrations you're looking for — whether that's checking attendance, finding other team leaders, or preparing a list of volunteers to contact. This article walks through each of the search and filter options available.
Before you start
- You must be an admin or be an assigned team leader for an event to access the volunteer registrations page. If you've only expressed interest, or haven't been assigned, this page will not be available to you.
- Search and filters can be combined — for example, you can filter by date and volunteering type at the same time to narrow results further.
How do I search and filter volunteer registrations?
Step 1. Navigate to the volunteer registrations page
- Open the left-hand navigation bar and select Volunteer registrations.
- This page shows all volunteer registrations for the events you are an assigned team leader for.
Step 2. Search by event name
- Use the search field to type in a specific activity name. This returns all registrations associated with that activity.
Step 3. Search by volunteer name
- Use the search field to find a specific volunteer. This returns all registrations associated with the volunteer name or email.
Step 4. Apply filters to narrow your results
Alongside the search field, you'll find a range of filters to help you refine the list:
- Date – Filter registrations by a specific date or date range.
- Volunteering type – Filter by General or Skilled volunteering.
- Event location – Filter by the location the event is being held at.
- Event visibility – Filter by which specific employee offices the event is visible to.
- Session – Filter by a specific session, useful for events that run across multiple sessions or time slots.
- Attendance status – Filter by check-in status, showing volunteers marked as Present or Absent.
-
Team role – Filter by other volunteers' role in relation to team leadership:
- Assigned team leader
- Expressed interest for team leader position
- Registered for others
- Past team leader
Step 5. Review your results.
- As you apply search terms and filters, the list of registrations on the page updates to reflect your criteria.
- Combine multiple filters at once to get a more precise list — for example, filtering by a specific session and Present attendance status will show you exactly who checked in to that session.
Note: It's important to apply the filters and search relevant to what you're looking for before taking further action, such as exporting a list — any export will only include the registrations currently shown on the page based on your active search and filters.
